ThinkAhead Corporation today released a major update to Diluta, its personal productivity app, adding an insight layer that reads a person’s entire week and surfaces what actually needs their attention. The update ships simultaneously across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, in eleven languages.
The update lands in the middle of an industry-wide race to build AI that takes over the calendar — autonomous agents that book meetings, schedule work, and act without being asked. Diluta is a deliberate argument against that model, made by a founder who spent two decades building the kind of automation the industry is now pointing at people’s daily lives.

What the insight layer does
Most task apps stop at storage. They hold what a person typed and hand it back, unsorted, every morning. Diluta’s new layer does the pass a good manager — or a calmer version of the same person on a Sunday night — would do, automatically, each time the app opens:
- Needs You Now — the handful of items that genuinely need attention today: overdue, high-stakes, or quietly stalling. Pulled to the top before the user goes looking.
- The Power Grid — the week’s work mapped by decision weight against energy, so demanding work lands in the hours a person can actually do it.
- Portfolio Health — every project as a single line: progress, next deadline, and where the risk sits.
- Strategic Rollup — each goal with its real pace and a projected finish, so “slightly behind” surfaces while there’s still time to act.
- Flow — work coming in against work going out, making a pile-up visible before it’s felt.
- Energy & Capacity — the week’s load by energy, with a quiet flag when a single day is asking too much.
None of it requires setup. There are no reports to build, no dashboards to configure, and no quiz to take. The analysis runs on the tasks a person has already entered.
Two smaller changes that matter more than they sound
Diluta 2.0 also rebuilds two things people touch every day. The month view now adapts to a phone screen: show the full week, weekdays only, or expand the weekend — so each day is wide enough to actually read what is on it, instead of reducing a week to coloured dots. And the time picker starts where the user is already headed — tapping morning, afternoon or evening drops the wheel beside the intended hour rather than making them spin through the whole day.
Everywhere, in eleven languages
Diluta now runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and the web, with a single subscription covering all of them. The app — including the entire insight layer — is fully localized into eleven languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, Korean and Hindi.
The breadth is unusual for the size of the company. ThinkAhead is a solo operation, and Diluta was built and localized with AI doing much of the engineering work that would traditionally require a team.

Built for the week that doesn’t go to plan
Diluta’s core promise has not changed: it’s a to-do list built for people whose Monday looks different every week — solo operators, freelancers, and parents running a life and a workload at the same time. When a meeting moves or a deadline lands early, the app keeps up with what actually happened rather than turning the remainder red.

Alongside the insight layer, Diluta includes a unified calendar and task view, a Kanban board, the Studio — a focus space with a Pomodoro timer and a notepad that autosaves — shared tasks with task-level messaging, templates, automations, and an AI assistant for capture, transcription, and breaking work down.
